Adapter for Methylated Spirit HK350/500 (Petromax)

The adapter ensures a smooth operation of your lamp with methylated spirit. The adapter for methylated spirit is fully compatible with all HK350 and HK500 models, and it will also work with other lamps like Anchor and Sea Anchor.

We recommend using methylated spirit and the preheat cup to light your lamp. You should therefore make sure that your lamp has a fully functional preheat cup.

Advantages:

- no unpleasant smell or formation of soot

- methylated spirit is more inexpensive than kerosene or paraffin oil and easily available

- equal brightness is guaranteed through the specific nozzle

- the nozzle makes it possible to operate the lamp below 1 bar

Disadvantages:

- the specific nozzle for methylated spirit increases fuel consumption (a full tank provides only up to 6 hours of operation)
