Open up a new world of adventure with the DD Campervan Tarpaulin - a lightweight awning system designed to be used with your campervan on those far-flung journeys across counties, countries and continents.

Fits both 6mm and 8mm flange channels.

The DD Campervan Tarp has both 6mm and 8mm flange - whilst the tarp has been designed and tested around a VW California T6.1, it will fit any van/canopy with a 6mm/8mm flange channel.

The tarpaulin can be used as a roof awning, threaded directly through the awning rail on the left hand side of the van (8mm on the VW), or as a side wall in conjunction with the built-in awning (6mm). Or to protect both sides, why not both!

Easy to mount

Overhead: Once attached to the van, the outer edge of the tarpaulin requires 2 x poles for support (if the tarpaulin is used overhead), guyed out to provide stability. An optional third pole can be placed in the centre of the tarpaulin, to give more headroom and aid in water run-off on wet days*. The whole process takes just a few minutes, allowing you to enjoy the view.

Side Wall: If used as a side wall, simply pull the tarpaulin into the channel at the edge of the awning, nail the bottom, and attach the sides to the awning frame to fix it in place.

UV50 Protection

The DD Campervan Tarpaulin is made from DD Hammocks UV50+ material.

As well as providing protection from bad weather thanks to its 3000mm waterproofing, it also blocks over 98% of harmful UV rays. An ideal solution for travelling in hot climates or lounging outdoors on long, sunny days.

Lightweight and compact

Weighs just over 1kg and is much smaller than other dedicated awnings, so you can easily store it in your caravan without taking up space for more adventure gear.

Note - this tarpaulin has been designed and tested around a VW California T6.1 - but any van / awning with 6mm or 8mm rails will be compatible.

Buckles - All buckles on this tarpaulin are female: We plan to release products in the future that will be compatible with these buckles - although for now these can be used to assist in attaching the tarpaulin to awaning frames / poles.

Mounting poles: This product requires additional poles to support the outward facing corners and roof. We recommend our DD Tarp Pole - 2.2m or DD Tarp Pole - Size XL.

*If only 2 posts are used (1 in each corner), we recommend that one post is raised or lowered higher than the other, to avoid a flat roof that could trap water.

General care

To preserve the strength of the material, avoid bending it along the same lines too often (change it after 10 times).

Store in a cool, dry and dark place.

Always make sure that the material (including the rope) is completely dry before storing.

Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40C and below -15C).

Always keep the tarpaulin at a safe distance from fire and flames.

Do not machine wash. Hand wash in warm water.

Ensure that the area around the product is free from hazards.

Children should be supervised when using this product.
