DD SuperLight - Bikepacker Groundsheet

The DD SuperLight - Bikepacker Groundsheet has been designed to work in conjunction with the DD SuperLight - Bikepacker Tarp, giving you and your gear protection from ground moisture on those far-flung pedal-powered adventures.

Simple and innovative assembly

The simple conical shape of the ground adapts to the surface of the DD SuperLight Bikepacker Tarp, and sets up in a matter of seconds.

Once your Bikepacker Tarp is assembled, the floor extends underneath. Simply place the end of the adjustable straps over your stirrups and pull the loose ends of the tail to tighten everything through the adjustment buckle - almost any saddle height is provided for. Optionally, you can also remove the reinforced eyelet at the upper end.

Lightweight and waterproof

As with all equipment designed for cycle touring, the weight and size of the backpack is a major concern, and we have taken this into account! The DD SuperLight - Bikepacker Groundsheet weighs just 150g, and can be compressed into its apple-sized pouch. Easy to fit inside whatever luggage system you are using on your bike, or even neatly tucked away in a jersey or jacket pocket.

Although this product is designed for use with the DD SuperLight - Bikepacker Tarp, it can also be used as a stand-alone floor for a bivvi shelter. Simply nail each fixing point to create a waterproof floor for your mat and sleeping bag.

Incredibly lightweight, weighing only 150g.

Can be compressed to an approximate size of 12 cm x 8 cm x 8 cm

4 adjustable fastening straps: 2 at the front (wide end) and 2 at the back (narrow end).

We recommend attaching the foot end straps to the pair of loops closest to the foot end point of the DD SuperLight - Bikepacker tarp.

Reinforced metal eyelet at the head end - can be nailed in for a more secure installation.

How to store your DD Superlight equipment

Over time, repeated folding lines can begin to weaken the thin material of your DD SuperLight equipment. For storage, we always recommend "tucking" DD SuperLight equipment into its bag.

General care

To preserve the strength of the material, avoid folding along the same lines too often (change after 10 times).

Store in a cool, dry and dark place.

Always make sure that the material (including the rope) is completely dry before storing.

Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40C and below -15C).

Always keep the tarpaulin at a safe distance from fire and flames.

Do not machine wash. Clean carefully by hand with warm water.

Prolonged exposure to UV light may weaken the material (UV degradation is excluded from the warranty).
